Organization
The Homeland Society functions as a cohesive, mission-driven association, structured to foster collaboration, sustainable growth, and meaningful community impact.
To broaden our influence and enhance operational effectiveness, we may establish branch offices throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as internationally, when necessary. Each branch operates in accordance with our Statute and is led by an appointed head who ensures its activities align with the Society’s Statute.
Additionally, it is possible to establish sections - focused on areas such as agriculture, tourism, or culture - that deal with specific fields of our work. These sections are established by the Assembly, guided by clear programs and plans, and are led by section heads.
Our governance model is rooted in transparency, accountability, and collective decision-making.
The Assembly, comprising all members, serves as the Society’s highest authority. It sets strategic direction, oversees financial matters, evaluates project outcomes, and elects the President
The President, elected for a four-year term, acts as the Society’s official representative. Responsible for implementing Assembly decisions, the President manages day-to-day operations, leads major initiatives, oversees all financial transactions, signs all documents, and handles key duties such as signing agreements and supervising strategic projects.
This organizational framework enables us to stay adaptive, community-focused, and united in our commitment to building a stronger, more connected future.
